Phoenix, Arizona - July 28, 2014 - Buckeye Union High School District (BUHSD) has selected the automated e-IEP PRO solution to manage their special needs program starting in the 2014-15 school year. BUHSD is making the switch from their Synergy Special Education product (formerly known as Genesea), which the district has used for several years in conjunction with their Synergy SIS product. Bev Jenkins, Director of Special Services at Buckeye Union High School District said "The Buckeye Union High School District made the decision to go with e-IEP PRO in the spring when our feeder districts gave us online access to documentation for our incoming freshmen. I realized right away how user-friendly the system was. We'd never really considered a change, but that access to the feeder schools' files combined with the large number of transfer students who come to us with e-IEP PRO documents, and the ease of transferring records between schools, it was an easy decision. Jeff Kline and the staff from e-IEP PRO have been proactive, responsive, and attentive. The training and support have been first class."
In making the switch, the e-IEP PRO has worked collaboratively with Buckeye UHSD to:
(1) Establish a fully automated, hands-free, comprehensive data interface with the district's Synergy SIS;
(2) Load all historical data and forms from their current SPED software into the e-IEP PRO;
(3) Create the capabilities to share and transfer data and forms with ~315 Arizona LEAs;
(4) Provide training to all special education and related services staff at the district.
BUHSD and many other districts have made the decision to switch to the e-IEP PRO based on the e-IEP PRO's (a) advanced data management features; (b) stronger compliance with Arizona regulations and best practices; (c) comprehensiveness of features; (d) user friendliness; and (e) outstanding end-user support services.
A 100 percent web-based product, the e-IEP PRO is an interoperable special education student data and forms management system that is fully integrated, yet not dependent upon the district's SIS to achieve results for the district. The e-IEP PRO addresses the diverse needs of special education students with functionality for every stakeholder: administrators, case managers, evaluators, service providers, teachers, counselors, parents, and students. The e-IEP PRO's robust collaborative environment and customized workflow streamline special education processes, increasing staff efficiency and ensuring compliance to meet state and federal regulations. The system generates and stores student METs, IEPs, and related forms online in one central database that is interoperable with any and all district data management systems.
